Medical Device Connectivity Conference
The fourth Medical Device Connectivity conference is focused on workflow automation through the integration of medical device and information systems. Relevant enabling technologies are also a focus and include: wireless, networking, real time location systems, alarm notification, privacy and security, risk management and related topics. The acute care (hospital) market is the principal focus of this event, although extensions into ambulatory markets from acute care is a growing trend.
Presentations range from 40 to 20 minutes in length depending on where they fall in the program.
The audience includes product managers and engineers from companies developing medical devices and connectivity solutions, hospital biomedical and clinical engineers, hospital IT and clinicians - mostly nurses and some physicians.
Past attendees have been around 400, and have been split pretty evenly between manufacturers and health care providers.
The conference is November 1st and 2nd and lasts a day and a half. A half day Post-Conference Workshop is optional.
For business attendees (vendors, manufacturers, consultants, finance), conference attendance is $1,295 or $1,695 with the Post-Conference Workshop.
