Building an HTTP API using NancyFX

A session at Portland Code Camp 2012

Saturday 2nd June, 2012

8:30am to 9:45am (PST)

Inspired by the Ruby framework Sinatra, NancyFX is an open-source micro-framework for building web applications using .NET. When the .NET platform is desirable or necessary, Nancy can be perfect for small-to-medium web applications, as well as for building a web API. Couple Nancy with KnockoutJS and Twitter Bootstrap, and you can build an interactive web page very quickly. This is a demo-heavy presentation! We will start by building an HTTP API using NancyFX. Time permitting, we will create a single-page app that exercises the api using KnockoutJS and Twitter Bootstrap.
