Without a doubt NoSQL databases are gaining ground not least
because the amount of data that has to be processed increases
dramatically each day. At the same time, NoSQL is less of a replacement
but more of a supplement to traditional relational databases. In
addition, the various NoSQL systems are, in some cases, significantly
different from each other. Properly navigating the NoSQL market
can therefore be quite difficult. The NoSQL Day offers an overview
of existing concepts as well as guidelines for decision-making and
presents practical experience from real-world projects.
