Leading industry professional Colin McHenry shares his knowledge and gives hints and tips on how to get illustration work in the Bridewell Hall during the lunch break.

Colin McHenry studied at St Martins School of Art and Design and then at the London College of Printing. He worked for the Medical News Group, Radio Times, Good Housekeeping and Which? before joining Centaur Communications as Group Art Director noted for publishing Marketing Week, Design Week and Creative Review. He has been heavily involved in design and illustration education and sat on the advisory committees for setting up new courses at Belfast, Colchester and Staffordshire, and this year was involved in the revalidation of the Solent BA Illustration degree course. He is a member of the Society for News Design and the Wynkyn de Worde Society, being its Chairman in 2008 and also a trustee of its Charitable Trust which provides bursaries and other awards to graphic arts students.
