Writing real production web apps in Go

A session at SecondConf 2012

Saturday 22nd September, 2012

2:00pm to 3:00pm (CST)

Go is a new systems language developed at Google that companies are just starting to use in production. At StatHat, we use it for everything. I’ll describe how to write fast, scalable, production-quality web applications using the standard Go packages including the web server, template language, RPC calls, and database access. I’ll share our experience deploying and using Go in a production environment.
