Software development can be a daunting subject to learn. We live our professional lives in a world filled with jargon and abstract concepts; a world that can be downright impenetrable to the newcomer. The path to proficiency is often a long and frustrating one. But helping the inexperienced is not an easy task. Breaking down concepts so that they can be easily digested from a blog post, article, or book can be a surprisingly difficult and elusive goal. This talk will look at that process of breaking down difficult concepts and writing as if it were an engineering problem.
