Sessions at South Florida .NET Code Camp about Mobile Apps on Saturday 18th February

In this session, we learn how to write a REST service deployed to Azure platform and targeted for mobile devices. Due to the nature of REST, they can be consumed by iOS, Android, as well as HTML5 and Windows Phone.

In this session you will learn how to use your ASP.NET skills to create Mobile Web Applications leveraging jQuery Mobile. We will cover initial setup, strategies for your data layer, and targeting the major Mobile OS platforms.

In the last session, we looked at using HTML5, ASP.NET and jQuery Mobile to create Web-based applications for mobile devices. This session builds on that showing how to take that application and turn it into a Native application using PhoneGap for deployment to the respective App Stores.
