Techniques for increasing end user adoption

A session at SharePoint Saturday New Hampshire 2012

Saturday 22nd September, 2012

2:45pm to 3:45pm (EST)

Any organizations, including possibly yours, settle upon SharePoint as an enterprise (or at least widely-used) collaboration, search and business process automation platform (to name a few uses!). This "settling" process is expensive, time-consuming and often frustratingly shallow with no real “oomph” behind it. As a result, you end up with a core of dedicated users and a lot of “sort of” users and no clear mandate to do much with SharePoint other than the simple stuff. Attend this session to learn how to increase user adoption in your company by designing metrics, measuring current usage against those metrics, identifying ad implementing a targeted reality-based strategy to increase adoption and measure the success of that effort.
