Managing Director, 137 Ventures
Alex is a founder and managing director of 137 Ventures, a growth-stage private technology company investmentfirm. He is also chairmanof ImmunePath, which has developed the technology to manufacture blood cells from embryonic stem cell lines. Previously, he was anentrepreneur-‐in-‐residence at Founders Fund, where he focused on deep science investing. Prior to that he created and launched HappStack, todays leading open source Haskell application server. Alex isa serial entrepreneur with multiple successful exits including Shop.com and PowerSet.
