Security: In Real Life

A session at Symfony Live San Francisco 2012

Thursday 27th September, 2012

10:40am to 11:30am (PST)

The Symfony2 security component tackles the complex problems of authentication and authorization by spreading concerns across a number of objects, each with a single responsibility. This makes for a very flexible design, but also makes the component much less accessible to the beginner. This presentation will present the Symfony security component as it's never been presented before: in real life. Join us to see some of your favorite members of the Symfony community perform the security component in a series of scenes, interspliced with some technical descriptions of what's going on.
