13 September – 29 November 2012
TCS Integration is run as a tele-practicum for students who have completed The Coaching Stance class and wish to deepen their agile coaching practice. TCS Integration solidifies the professional coaching skills you learned in class, allowing you to integrate them as you work with the difficult, and even previously intractable, situations that don’t have a straightforward “agile practices answer.”
It is an intensive program of nine sessions run over three months with a cadence of “three weeks on-one week off.” Each session focuses on a specific coaching skill and includes hands-on practice (in private, virtual breakout rooms), offline exercises, and a coaching challenge in your own agile coaching context. In addition, your coaching will be assessed twice during the program. An experienced co-active coach will support you as “angel on your shoulder” and also assess your skill as you coach one of your colleagues. Your coaching skill will be assessed against industry-standard professional coaching competencies, allowing you to get a clear picture of where your skills are strong and where they could use some more practice.
Practice, practice, practice is the mantra of the TCS Integration. To give you more opportunities to practice, for the length of the program, you must maintain at least two coaching relationships in which you use your professional coaching skills. The coaching relationships can be with a product owner, team member, manager, a colleague, your hairdresser — anyone with whom you create a coaching alliance.
Working within a cohort of up to 15 coaches and a master professional coach + an agile coach, TCS Integration drills in the skill and coaching presence needed to constructively work with the people and situations that hold agile back.
Thursdays at 9AM Pacific to be held on the following dates:
Sept: 13, 20, 27 / Oct: 11, 18, 25 / Nov: 8, 15, end on 29th
