Essex introduced social media accounts gradually to improve customer experience, beginning with the first e-newsletter in 2006 and most recently the Essex Libraries YouTube channel in 2011. The focus is now to develop our online relationship with customers and increase channel synergy to enhance customer service and library reputation.
