The changing role of search

A session at The Social Media Revolution

Traditional search engines are essentially broken, as they cannot scale to take into account the amount of user generated content that is flooding daily onto the internet. In order to make sense out of this, it's necessary to start to use search engines in rather different ways, and indeed to use different search engines entirely. This session will look at some of these search engines and will discuss how search is changing.
