A session at UAS Training and Simulation
As more nations and companies enter into UAS design and fielding, the somewhat ‘ancillary’ aspects of training and standardisation are often left undeveloped (the Watchkeeper is a classic and current example). We will explore taking a ‘blank sheet’ TUAS program (although applicable up and down the capability scale) and design a workable training syllabi for ALL operators and support personnel.
The audience will get a clearer understanding of:
Common Operator and Maintainer Ground School requirements
Role-specific ground schools
Practical and simulator needs and options
‘Additonal’ courses: Weaponeering, launch / recovery, civilian equivalence etc.
IOC and FOC considerations
Pilot / Sensor Operator / Image Analyst / Intel Support / Mission Commander / Maintenance / Scheduler / Weather Support / Admin Support
