Come and go if you think you’re Hypercard enough! (hands-on)

A session at UX Camp Brighton 2012

Saturday 8th December, 2012

4:00pm to 4:25pm (GMT)

3 decades ago an Apple product – Hypercard – (nearly) revolutionised how we use personal computers.

Hypercard is now a dead product – you can’t even (run an operating system old enough to emulate an operating system old enough to) run it on modern computers.

In this session you’ll be able to actually play with the software itself (running on a 23 year old Mac).

Hypercard is a lovely application that’s really easy to use, with an almost imperceptible learning curve, so 30 minutes will be ample to behold it’s beauty and perhaps get a glimpse of the impact it has had on browsers, the web and the world.

→ *There’s no talk, so please feel free to ask loads of questions*
