Altfor mange prosjekter på nettet strander fordi de som lager innhold, ikke ser lenger enn til seg selv og sin egen navle, sier Ingeborg Volan, rådgiver i Gambit Hill+Knowlton.

Ida Jackson, nettansvarlig i Store Norske Leksikon og kjent som bloggeren Virrvarr er ikke enig. Det er mulig å få brukerne til å bry seg, og SNL har fått det til. Men det er ikke magi – det er organisasjonsbygging. Og det er hardt arbeid.

Companies and organizations will have your attention and think social media is a quick fix. But your brand is actually not important to the user. Too many projects on the net stranded because those who create content, do not look beyond themselves and their own navel, says Ingeborg Volan, consultant Gambit Hill + Knowlton.

Ida Jackson, the webmaster of Great Norwegian Encyclopedia and known as blogger tangling not agree. It is possible to get users to care, and SNL has succeeded. But it's not magic - it's organizational development. And it is hard work.
