At last year's Where Conf I attended a Fusion Tables workshop presented by Google. As a geospatial/GIS professional I was extremely disappointed to see Google violate simple, basic tenants of geospatial analysis; showing attendees how to do bad things with good technology. The job market craves GIS/Web Developers while demand for 'traditional' GIS skills plummets. Is the GIS Professional dead?
