I am WordPress (And So Can You!)

A session at WordCamp Raleigh 2012

Every open-source project is built on a community of passionate users and contributors, and WordPress is no exception. The WP community isn’t just about developers: designers, writers, event organizers, support volunteers, and testers are every bit important to making WP as good as it is. In this presentation, I’ll introduce you to some of the ways you can get more involved with the community no matter what your interests. Getting involved with the community is the best way I know to increase your WP skills, grow your network, and give something back to the WP world.

This session is intended for anyone who knows and loves WordPress, but who isn’t sure how to get more involved in contributing to the WordPress community — or even if they can (hint: yes!).
