VP of Strategy, Mirren Business Development
Hillary’s role at Wunderman is to lead all aspects of ‘business concepting’ for our clients, whether it’s through business analytics, consumer insight or innovative channel strategy. Over the past twenty years, from Pizza Hut to Microsoft, Hillary has helped launch new brands and course-correct existing ones. The challenge is same – creating a dialog, not a monolog, between brand and consumer. She’s worked on a variety of clients, from helping Holland America Line attract ‘sophomore cruisers,’ to increasing ridership and revenue for Amtrak Cascades among car-addicted Boomers. She helped JanSport find new ways to increase sales among elusive and fickle young adults. And found new ways for Seagate Technology to grow among jaded and cynical developers.
Prior to joining the Wunderman network, Hillary was part of DDB Worldwide’s global team in charge of incorporating best practices from 200+ offices into the Springboard Playbooks™. The most recent was the Influence Playbook – designed to capitalize on the growing impact of social networks on brands.
Throughout her career, she’s been recognized by her clients for her commitment to their business, for example, being asked by the Regional President of Pizza Hut to be the first employee on the account at their new agency, BBDO; and being named AE of the Year at the client’s International Conference of Agencies. She’s worked on creative campaigns which have been acknowledged with CLIOs, Cannes Lions and Effies.
