10:45am to 11:30am
The Sakai Teaching and Learning group held its first "gathering" in 2006 as means to organize itself and bring a new voice, at the time, to the Sakai community. Since then, the group has launched the Teaching with Sakai Innovation Award (TWSIA) program as well as led the Learning Design Lens initiative which produced a design framework for future learning technologies. This year the group will be holding another gathering with the goals of encouraging participation by both new and seasoned community members. This session will present a brief overview of the groups prior work followed by a larger group discussion around new priorities. All, regardless of backgrounds or expertise are welcome!
