Delivering a Valuable Mobile Offering for Members and Delegates

A session at Associations Technology Congress 2013

Thursday 4th July, 2013

10:50am to 5:30pm (GMT)

A mobile presence is now a requirement for associations. It isn’t sufficient to hope members can access non-purposed content and functions on mobiles. An effective technology strategy must address both phone and iPad/tablet. There is the potential for waste of investment and effort if you don’t know what is working for other association.

Hear from experienced associations and experts on:

  • How different approaches to delivering on mobile are working for associations
  • What members use most on mobiles
  • Which content and apps are really engaging members and delegates
  • How to eliminate or reduce re-purposing of content
  • How to introduce mobile apps and when
  • How apps are being used at events to differentiate the experience for delegates
  • Resident vs web apps at events and balancing delegates engaging with delegates/exhibitors vs playing on their devices
  • Overcoming technical challenges of different devices and capacities
