Business Analysts innovate and create value for both their organisations and for their projects. On an organisational level for example, they ensure that projects are delivering strategic value by linking project objectives to organisational strategy. On a project level for example, they ensure that there is sufficient clarity for the project team to all work together by gaining agreement on requirements and communicating changes throughout the team.
Sadly, many stakeholders view the BA as the "person who writes requirements" as opposed to an innovative team member who is creating value.
On 21 November 2013 we challenge that perception by examining the innovation delivered and contribution made by business analysts at all levels of the organisation. Our speakers will tell of their experiences "innovating and creating value"; and we offer a set of workshops for delving deep into topics of interest.
You will leave BA Development Day 2013 with a view of the professional business analyst as instrumental in innovating and creating business value - helping organisations identify and implement complex business and IT changes.
