This session shows you the next generation of gesture control for the PC and Interactive solutions using the Kinect for Windows Sensor. We will show the capabilities and what you can and can’t do with this device and how the Kinect is becoming the Ears and Eyes of your PC. This also covers the functionality of the new Kinect Sensor known form the XBOX ONE and touches how you can integrate the Kinect into your applications
Gunter Logemann has more than 20 years experience in developing professional Software for the Windows platform and embedded Systems. Started as Windows Driver Developer he worked as Senior Project Manager and Program Manager in the development Departments of Siemens and Infineon before he joined Microsoft in 2005 to be part of the Core Windows development team with the focus on the Media and Hardware Experience in Windows.
He is now part of the Microsoft Evangelism team to tell the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 developer story and other innovation topics like Kinect for Windows or Robotics.
