Harri Koponen is currently the COO of Rovio Entertainment Ltd., an industry-changing entertainment media company headquartered in Finland, and the creator of the globally successful Angry Birds franchise.
Angry Birds, a casual puzzle game, became an international phenomenon within a few months of its release, and is now the number one paid app of all time. Following this success in mobile gaming, Angry Birds has expanded rapidly in entertainment, publishing, and licensing to become a beloved international brand. Before joining Rovio, Mr. Koponen served as CEO of Swedish Tele2, as President and CEO of Sonera Corporation and as Deputy CEO of TeliaSonera Ab. He has also served as Managing Director of Kuwait Wataniya Telecom and has held positions for such international companies as Hewlett-Packard and Shell. Koponen holds a Ph.D. in Economics h.c. and has a long history of successful achievements in a number of global organizations.
Chief Product & Innovation Officer
Dr. Thomas Kiessling is Chief Product and Innovation Officer (CPIO) of Deutsche Telekom. As such, he is in charge of the Group-wide innovation strategy, product development and Corporate Research & Development (R&D). He controls the Deutsche Telekom product portfolio and defines the product roadmap for the Group. In addition, he guarantees the implementation in the market via systematic innovation management and Corporate R&D. He also manages the integrated IPR portfolio and incubation management.
Mr. Kiessling has a long standing professional experience in telecommunications, IT and online product development. Before joining Deutsche Telekom he has held several executive positions at bwin interactive entertainment, Amadeus IT Group, GlobalOne and Energis Ision. He worked as a consultant for the World Bank and the European Commission as well as for Analysys. He holds a PhD in Economics and Telecommunications from Hohenheim University, a master in Telecommunications and IT from the Ecole nationale supérieure des Télécommunications and a master of economics from the American University.

Michael was the co-founder and CEO for 15 years of Blackboard, an eLearning software company used at over 20,000 institutions in more than 70 countries by over 20 million students and faculty to bring teaching and learning online. Under Michael’s leadership, Blackboard grew from 2 employees to over 3,000, with 21 offices around the globe. Blackboard established leading technologies in enterprise software, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and a Mobile. Michael led the acquisition of over 22 competitors and add-on technologies. Michael took Blackboard (Nasdaq: BBBB) public in 2004 before then selling it in 2011 to Providence Equity Partners in 2011 for $1.7 billion. Today Michael is the CEO of SocialRadar a company focused on developing mobile applications to make you more aware of the people and connections around you.
