Thursday 30th May, 2013
5:30pm to 9:00pm
Atticus Finch is very happy to be involved with the Digital Shoreditch Festival by organising a free open studio. Our film arm Scout Films recently ran a crowdfunding campaign to raise finishing funds for its first drama ‘Drone Strike’ and they'd love to share their experience with the Digital Shoreditch community.
Plus we're delighted to announce that we'll be joined by two high profile speakers:
- Uber crowd-funder /producer /blogger James Heath, who ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund his feature film 'The Fitzroy'
- and Orestes Kouzof, who works in the marketing department at the Raindance Film Festival. Raindance has recently partnered with Indiegogo and they're running a crowdfunding campaign to fund the film 'Love. Honour. Obey' which will premiere at the festival this year.
Through platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo, crowdfunding has become powerful financing tool for indie filmmakers - and a great way to engage with your audience even before the film has been made.
