11:00am to 11:45am
Parents are such an important part of education. How do we engage parents in the learning process? How do we inform them of what's happening in the classroom, but also encourage them to share their voices? See how we've used a combination of online and offline conversation and classroom involvement possibilities to really make parents, partners in education. Discuss practical ways that we can re-image our relationship with parents: moving away from parent involvement and on to parent engagement. Share what you're doing and learn some new ideas as well -- create a window into your classroom!
