Project Ideas for Fostering Creativity

A session at Bring IT, Together [ECOO & OASBO]

Thursday 24th October, 2013

12:00pm to 12:45pm (EST)

Every child is creative, it's up to us as educators to sustain and foster that creativity by providing students with the right tools to allow that creativity to prosper. Using software available in all Ontario schools that's really simple to use, teachers can easily scaffold the process of creating impressive audio visual projects while allowing students to focus on interpreting the content they've learned and expressing their ideas in creative ways. Come and hear about projects we created using Pixie 3 with students as young a Kindergarten; and combined text, images, animation, and sound for inspiring presentations created by junior students using Frames 4. Participants will leave with practical ideas and resources to support literacy skills and foster creativity in their students.
