Raspberry Pi: An Exciting New Flavour for Computing and Education.

A session at Bring IT, Together [ECOO & OASBO]

Thursday 24th October, 2013

10:00am to 10:45am (EST)

High value educational opportunity at a low cost ($35). Built to inspire and foster creativity, the Raspberry Pi (RPi) is a credit card sized computer with enough power and features to capture the imagination of educators and students alike. Join this session to explore the world of hardware and software “hacking”; get hands on with some of the projects created by students; pick up some “recipe cards” for projects including investigating the RPi’s hardware, creating a media server, making simple animations, running various operating systems, playing Minecraft and more.
