Frederico Lacerda is one of the founders of 21212, an accelerator of digital businesses based in Rio de Janeiro and NYC. A former professional swimmer and advertiser, he became an entrepreneur and business consultant and then cofounded 21212 to develop the local ecosystem and explore the exploding digital market in Brazil.
Frederico is also a frequent speaker, mentor and judge at several events in Brazil and in the US (Endeavor CEO Summit, LAVCA Summit, Startup Weekend, among others), expanding 21212′s support of entrepreneurship locally and globally. Prior to that, Frederico worked in management consulting at Accenture, where he was involved in international projects and methodology development in the telecommunications, finance and IT sectors. He studied Corporate Communications and Marketing, and is concluding a Master of Business Administration degree at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).
Before founding Papaya Ventures, Luisa was advisor to the COO at the OCDE (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) in Paris, where she also acted as coordinator of innovation policies for Latin America. With a Bachelor of Engineering from PUC-Rio, Luisa also has an INSEAD MBA, having worked many years as a consultant at Accenture Brasil and at the hedge fund Cantillon Capital Management, in London.
Serial entrepreneur, Felipe has founded over 10 startups, including firs mobile app in Latin America, Girando, when he was 16 years old. He is founding partner of Instituto Inovação, the leading group on innovation management in Brazil. The group controls the Venture Capital investment firm Inseed, which manages the biggest seed fund in Brazil – Fundo Criatec; and the innovation consulting firm Inventta, with offices all over Latin America, collecting clients such as Fiat Automobile, Petrobras, Jhonson & Jhonsons, Nestlé, among others. Felipe is founder and CEO of Startup Farm, the leading accelerator of digital startups in Brazil, with more than 50 companies and 150 entrepreneurs in its portfolio and counting.
