Several factors play in being an astronaut, such as having a taste of adventure, accepting the risk, working complex tasks, living like in camping trip. Jean-Francois Clervoy will share his own experience of three thrilling space flights and give an outlook about the future private access to space.

Jean-François flew twice aboard Space Shuttle Atlantis and once aboard Discovery for a total of 675 hours in space. With a professional career detached to the NASA in 1992 and providing duties to the NASA-JSC Astronaut Office, Jean-François will share, in the Explorers Festival Conferences, his knowledge, his experience, and what made him achieve what he has achieved today.
