Today, we have a myriad of tools and techniques at our disposal to better understand our users. We are also constantly developing great design methods. However, techniques that are used inappropriately don't help create better products, services or designs — in fact, they can hurt. Moreover, translating research results to the creative process of better designs remains an eternal challenge. How can we make design and research meet in order to have practical, business impact?
