Building a culture of giving within Higher Education in Australia requires patience, cultivation and excellent communication - both externally and internally. Overcoming changes in the perception of public funding as well as challenges of distance learning, cultural resistance and a lack of internal resources and structure, takes strong and effective leadership to succeed.

This unique forum will examine how philanthropy and fundraising is being developed internally by institutional advancement, development and alumni teams. The event will provide working strategies and practical case studies that demonstrate how to manage philanthropic activities to build partnerships between donor and institution of immense power and value to the wider community. This forum will enable institutional advancement, fundraising, alumni and development professionals to develop the skills and knowledge required to thrive in the current and future changing face of advancement, fundraising and philanthropy in the evolving Higher Education sector.
