GameCityNights

An after-dark exploration of videogame culture

28 March 2013 from 6pm to 11pm

Currently in read only mode, sorry about that, please try again in a few hours.

After an exhilarating few months taking GameCityNights on tour around the British Isles, we are back in our hometown of Nottingham! And oh boy are we back with a bang.

On the 28th, GCNights have invited the amazing Ollie Clarke - Developer & Designer of The Button Affair and The Cat That Got the Milk (the best Kandinsky tribute we’ve ever seen), to take to the stage and talk about how the team created such suave action games.

If you haven’t checked out The Button Affair already, it’s based around the life of Enzo Gabriel and his quest to steal the Princess Button Jewel. His story is full of running, lasers and a lot of gruesome deaths and was released recently to support the charity Special Effect. We’d recommend getting some practice! http://www.thebuttonaffair.com/

In typical GCNights fashion, we’ll also have some lovely surprises for all attendees throughout the evening – but that’s a secret… so shh.
We’re always keen to get you guys involved with our adventurous exploration into videogames culture. So if you are a developer or designer, have some awesome work that needs shouting about and want a free platform to do it from, just let us know at: http://open.gamecity.org/

As we are back to our normal state of affairs this month, GameCityNights kicks off at 6pm at Antenna.
