Making Accessibility Accessible - Mike Douglas, Ustwo

A session at HCID2013

Wednesday 17th April, 2013

3:50pm to 4:30pm (GMT)

There's loads of information out there about standards for colour blindness, dyslexia etc. but the irony is that they're all presented in a really inaccessible way. Documentation is often lengthy, vague and has designers running for cover. Designing things accessible doesn't have to be confusing and certainly shouldn't be ugly. Lets make accessibility accessible.

Designer (and proud Northerner) with over 8 years industry experience working on projects across clients such as Barclays, Channel 4, American Express, Amazon, Lovefilm, Amnesty International, and Virgin. He has a special expertise in user interface design with a strong focus on functionality and fun.
