These are a Few of My Favorite Things

A session at HighEdWeb New England

Monday 18th March, 2013

2:15pm to 2:25pm (EST)

Every web developer is familiar with the most popular javascript libraries, especially jQuery, Prototype and MooTools. In this talk, I will describe some of my favorite less popular (but no less useful) libraries available, including backbone.js (MVC), handlebars.js (templating), lodash.js (utility functions), raphael.js (SVG), openlayers (mapping) and modernizr.js (client feature detection). This talk will discuss what each of these libraries does well and how they can be integrated into your web applications.
