Love Java but find the JVM doesn’t let you do what you want, or maybe you have never considered what could be done if you could change the machine itself? After all doing that means writing a custom JVM, right? That was true, until now!
Nigel Daniels (Product Manager at Waratek) will take a tour of the open sourced Java Virtualization Interface (JVI) and look at some of the amazing capabilities this technology brings to Java. From making legacy code multitenant and elastic (with no code changes), through to virtualizing entire application platforms. These are just a few of the possibilities.
This session is a must for any one facing the challenges developing for the cloud brings to us all and for anyone who wants to find out just what can be done if you can control the very JVM itself.
Nigel Daniels is a software design, development and delivery expert, with many years in the software development industry behind him.
