Front end trends are changing quickly with the mainstreaming of features of web components and shadow DOM. What does this mean for jQuery users and how we build web applications? This talk will explore the basics philosophy behind writing modular, reusable code blocks for front-end use, and explain some of the basics of new browser APIs such as web components and shadow DOM.
