We're pleased to announce the first in our 2013 morning speaker series of talks with the amazingly talented Tara McMullen from Tara McMullen Photography!

Tara McMullen is a Toronto-based wedding and portrait photographer who, since entering the photography world in 2008, has shot more than 150 weddings in Canada, the US, and Europe. Tara’s background as an ex-PhD candidate in Sociology has led her to approach her work with an eye to the subtleties of human interactions and the moments-between-moments that happen when no one else is looking.

Tara has been featured in countless blogs + magazine publications including most recently in the acclaimed 'Best Weddings of 2012' for Style Me Pretty! She will be delving deep into her life as a renowned professional wedding and portrait photographer over the last 5 years, talking about her entry into the profession as a hobby, how easy it is in becoming disenchanted with your craft, and the importance of finding that spark again.

Date: Tuesday, February 12th
Time: Doors open 8:30am | Talk begins 9:00am and ends 10:00am
Venue: Strada 241, 241 Spadina Ave, Toronto (Map)

Coffee and food will be available for purchase on location.

Please remember this is meant to be a small informal gathering of creative minds, so don't hesitate to jump in, ask questions, or add to the discussion!

Our Mission: This is not another lecture series. There isn’t anyone behind a lectern. There aren’t topics supported by statistics. There may not even be any visual material at all. This series is about individuals from across the creative spectrum coming together to tell their personal stories as a way to spread ideas, develop relationships, and to inspire. We believe in the power that personal experiences have to teach us to become better at what we do.
