Law for Everyone @ The People’s Law Library of Maryland

A session at MLA/DLA Annual Conference 2013

  • Michael Craven

Thursday 9th May, 2013

10:45am to 12:00pm (EST)

With the high cost of quality legal representation, more and more people are choosing to resolve their legal problems on their own. For over a decade, the People’s Law Library (PPL) website has been a free legal resource for self-represented litigants in Maryland’s courts. This presentation will demonstrate the value of PLL for patrons in need. Participants will become familiar with the resources available and learn the range of legal topics covered on the site. At the end of the session, participants will be equipped to assist patrons in navigating the site to find solutions to the most common problems the self-represented may have.
