Thursday 9th May, 2013
2:00pm to 3:15pm
Are you the go-to person for leading book discussions at your library? Or maybe you’re the person at your branch interested in taking on that role? Join us to learn new ways of planning and organizing engaging discussion programs. Similar to a popular session presented previously at this conference, the session will offer you new ways of looking at and preparing for your discussion programs. The techniques shared can be used by libraries of all types in preparation for everything
from book discussions to broader discussions about the important topics in your organization or community. This is a hands-on session and participants will be asked to come prepared by having read the 2013 One Maryland One Book selection in advance.
3:45pm Ask Us Anything! Human Resource Practice and Supervision by Stacey Fields, Barbara Kirven and Lisa Yarnall
