Read. Learn. Grow. Hands on ECRR Programs for Families

A session at MLA/DLA Annual Conference 2013

  • Catherine DiCristofaro

Thursday 9th May, 2013

2:00pm to 4:30pm (EST)

Libraries are one of the best places for children to begin to develop early literacy skills. St. Mary’s County Library System has implemented a highly successful program to help parents and caregivers find new ways for their children to learn these important skills. In this presentation you will have the chance to experience ten different early literacy activities that are based on the Every Child Ready to Read five practices. Come and learn how these activities were created and how you can create your own early literacy stations on a budget.
