Mobile communication has certainly transformed our lives, but mobile itself is not the revolution, it is an enabler. The revolution lies in what constant access to dynamically remediated information via multiple devices, tablets, phones, sentient appliances, smart environments, is allowing us to do, turning all of us into wranglers constantly weaving new subjective narratives. Moving across channels and media, we tap into a seemingly endless world of connections and possibilities that is slowly seeping back into physical space and taking as close to cyberspace as we might ever be. What is the role of mobile in this new cross-channel world?
