Over the last two years Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School and the National Library of New Zealand have been collaborating on a site specific performance project concerned with questions of collection, preservation, access and re-presentation.
This presentation explores how accessing and translating information over multiple platforms can be used as a vehicle for art, conscious social growth, criticism and debate and aims to stimulate curiosity in the space between institutional value and the digital realities of an OS13 generation.
Jade Eriksen is a Senior Tutor in Context and Practice at Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School.
Hannah McDougall is a final year year student in the Bachelor of Design (Stage and Screen) at Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School.
