Workshop: Building online courses as a community effort

A session at NDF2013

Wednesday 27th November, 2013

3:30pm to 4:25pm (NZMT)

Following on from Deborah Howes’ keynote address, in this one-hour workshop participants will learn the key steps in creating and delivering content for online courses and then brainstorm how local institutions might work collaboratively to produce them. Addressing common challenges such as internet support, media production costs, funding opportunities, copyright clearances, data standards and marketing will be a special focus. All are welcome: no technology expertise is required to participate fully in this hands-on experience and having a wide range of institutions present will improve the results of our experiment.
