Wednesday 27th November, 2013
2:30pm to 2:55pm
How does a community remember a historically and culturally significant area of their city which has literally been bulldozed to dust? In order to recall the real which no longer exists as bricks and mortar the New Zealand Historic Places Trust have created the High Street Stories website and augmented reality (AR) app. These digital media provide portals of recollections and images as well as the magical time travel of City View AR.
Both the website and the High Street Stories AR app, developed by HITLab NZ, will be demonstrated during the presentation.
Zoe is currently employed by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust in Christchurch.
3:30pm Panel: Progress and perspectives on opening up the rights and licensing for cultural sector collections by Matt McGregor, Reid Perkins, Fiona Gregson, Fiona Moorhead, Victoria Leachman, Tom Rennie and Fi Fieldsend
