Deborah Bryant brings to the OSI board a perspective from a decade of work focused on the adoption and use of open source software and open development models in the public sector spanning private and public industry and academia, following a decade in start-ups and management the high tech industry. While at OSUOSL, she founded and produced the annual Government Open Source Conference (GOSCON) from 2005-2011. She founded the Bryant Group in 2011 and continues assisting government and others in private practice, and serves on numerous boards and councils with public trust agendas and an emphasis on open source as enabling technology.
