Pablo: the launch

Pablo, an open-source JavaScript library for SVG, used for vector-based art, games, visualisations and interfaces

20 September 2013 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

Currently in read only mode, sorry about that, please try again in a few hours.

Pablo is a small, open-source JavaScript library for SVG (the web standard for vector graphics). It can be used for vector-based art, games, visualisations and interfaces. It was built by Premasagar Rose from Brighton.

Pablo focuses on simplicity and performance, targeting modern browsers for both desktop and mobile.

SVG has the potential to fulfil everything that Flash did for vector graphics on the web. However, SVG is severely behind Flash in terms of its developer tools. Pablo is a tiny offering to the cause.

At this launch for Pablo, there will be a quick and simple introduction to what Pablo is capable of and how it is used, and a chance to meet fellow designers, developers, team builders and founders.
