The engagement of community collaborators during the planning, and carry out an impact study are key determinants of success. The Engaged RCT required methodological compromises, but ensures program sustainability. Programs supported by SNAP Ed has potential for efficacy and disseminability due to its flexible development with the target population and collaboration.
