Youth and adults are interested in personal and community health. Why not move toward healthy living, together? Models of effective youth-adult partnerships are visible in many states, in various organizations, and addressing diverse public issues. While there are challenges to effective partnerships, the opportunities are still greater. When young people are viewed as competent citizens with a responsibility to engage in their community, a dynamic force is available to adults, organizations, communities, and albeit youth themselves. Everyone experiences benefits. Identify best practices, gather resources, share ideas, and enhance skills for effective youth-adult partnerships. Let’s move toward healthy living, together.
