1:15pm to 2:15pm
Join in an opportunity to learn how national and state-based programming around the Affordable Care Act tie together, participate in a discussion of your unanswered questions, and take a more in-depth look at how the ACA is poised to change the health care landscape...affecting health care costs, quality and, most popularly, access to insurance and therefore care. Background about ACA, how to deal with the latest policy issues--including implications for small and large businesses, and possible reactions in communities will be included. Web-based materials being developed through a partnership between Wisconsin Extension and Covering Kids and Families, a university-based Medicaid outreach based project will also be shared. Come prepared with questions, engage in discussion of difficult issues, and return home being more knowledgeable about ACA and more confident about knowing where to look for resources to support programming about this public issues topic.
